Information you send us

If you email us, we receive the information you include in your message. We use it to reply to your enquiry, manage a requested update or discuss a potential business relationship. We retain correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes and any legal or accounting obligations.

Our email list

If you sign up for updates, we keep your email address and use it to email you updates about Fox & Vine, including when we open. We add you to the list when you sign up, and send you a welcome email straight away with a link to unsubscribe. We rely on your consent to email you, and you can take it back at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email. We keep your address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

If you choose to give them, we also keep your name, your postcode and any wines you’d like us to stock. We use your name to greet you in our emails and to know who you are when you come in, your postcode to see which areas our customers come from, and your wine suggestions to help us choose what we stock. We keep them for as long as we keep your email address.

If you tick the box to get texts, we also keep your mobile number and use it only to text you updates about Fox & Vine. Every text will say how to stop them, and you can also ask us to stop by emailing hello@foxandvine.co.uk. Without that tick, we do not keep your number.

The list is run for us by Resend, an email service based in the United States, which stores the addresses and sends the emails. Resend’s data processing terms cover sending personal information from the UK to the US, under the UK addendum to the standard contractual clauses and the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Cookies and analytics

This version of the website does not use advertising cookies or install its own analytics cookies. The map on the Visit page is supplied by Google and may be subject to Google’s own privacy terms when it loads.

Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We may use service providers that support our email or website, and we may disclose information where legally required.

Your rights
